Washington Jazz Society to hold Holiday Jazz Party at Historic George Washington Hotel Speakeasy Room

Washington, Pennsylvania – On December 15th the The Washington Jazz Society will hold a Holiday Cocktail Party from 7:00PM to 9:00 PM. The venue will be the Speak Easy Room of The George Washington Hotel which boasts a rich history of entertaining guests such as Al Capone, The Beatles, John F. Kennedy, Bob Hope, and many more.

The Jazz Society would like to welcome members of the community to experience an elegant evening filled with jazz music provided by the Dan Baker Group, with Dan Baker on guitar, Greg Thurman on bass, Josh Dunlevy on sax, and Tom Bell on drums and vocals. The George Washington Catering team will provide a selection of fruits and cheeses, vegetables crudités with ranch dip, crab stuffed mushroom caps, Swedish meatballs, buffalo chicken dip with tortilla and bagel chips, a hummus assortment with bagel chips, pita chips and vegetables, classic bruschetta, and mini club sandwiches. There will also be a cash bar available.

The Washington Jazz Society was founded in 2007 to promote live jazz music by local musicians and provide scholarships and education for musicians of all ages.
