To those of you who missed the performance by Jessica Lee and Mark Strickland on July 17, Jessica has donated 15 of her Rhythms of Anyway CDs to the Society to be given to the first 15 people who donate to the Jazz Society. Also, for those of you who missed Harold Betters you missed a very special experience.
The Washington Jazz Society has booked Robbie Klien and his group for November 20 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Presidents Pub. Dan Baker will continue to play all other Sunday Brunches from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Presidents Pub.
The Presidents Pub is continuing to offer a $50 gift coupon to anyone who joins the Washington Jazz Society. Dues are $50.00 per year. The result is the membership is free.
You can also hear live Jazz with the Dan Baker Group consisting of Washington Jazz Society members Dan Baker, Josh Dunlevy, Greg Thurman and Tom Bell every 2nd Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at AL´AN RUBENS Bar and Grill, 2390 Jefferson Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania. In November that is November 9. All other Wednesday evenings, Dan Baker will be playing solo Jazz guitar at AL´AN RUBENS Bar and Grill.
A Christmas Party and Jam Session with the Dan Baker Group is planned for December 15, 2016 at the George Washington Hotel.
