The Washington Jazz Society is a non-profit organization founded in 2007, whose mission is to educate the public about Jazz Music through concerts featuring national and local jazz musicians. The Washington Jazz Society provides scholarships for deserving young musicians, as well as Jazz educational and performance experiences for young musicians within our community. The Washington Jazz Society celebrates the Jazz Tradition, as we look forward to the future for the ever-evolving music called Jazz.
